RESUMEN EJECUTIVO
La realización de este trabajo trató sobre un “Estudio de factibilidad para la
creación de una fábrica dedicada a la producción y comercialización de conos de
galleta para helado en la ciudad de Ibarra”. Los resultados obtenidos para la
realización de este proyecto fueron los siguientes: En el Diagnóstico Situacional
se determinó la posibilidad de crear una fábrica dedicada a la producción de
comercialización de conos de galleta para helado en la ciudad de Ibarra, puesto
que a través del análisis de oportunidades, amenazas, riegos y aliados se
estableció que existe: la demanda de conos de galleta por parte de los propietarios
de heladerías de la ciudad, el consumo de helado en cono de galleta por parte de
las personas, la inexistencia de competencia local que realice esta actividad de
fabricación y las falencias de los competidores de otras ciudades con respecto a la
distribución de producto. Con la realización del estudio de mercado se identificó
la existencia de demanda insatisfecha que para el año 2012 es de 1.488.879
unidades de cono, esta cantidad se incrementa cada año en un 11.5%
aproximadamente, también se determinó dar un valor agregado al cono de galleta
haciendo que estos tengan sabores específicos como chocolate, vainilla, coco,
fresa, limón, naranja, mora etc. El estudio técnico permitió identificar la ubicación
de la fábrica que será en la ciudad de Ibarra, parroquia El Sagrario, barrio Ajaví
Chiquito; también se identificó los procesos de fabricación del cono de galleta y la
inversión total del proyecto de $20.062,31. A través del Estudio Financiero se
estableció que el proyecto a realizarse es rentable puesto que el V.A.N. es positivo
en $22458,16 y el T.I.R. que entrega el proyecto es del 39% de rentabilidad,
además que el tiempo de recuperación de la inversión será aproximadamente en
dos años. Por lo tanto se estableció un impacto positivo del proyecto con respecto
a lo social y económico debido a que este generará fuentes de empleo, ayudará al
desarrollo industrial de la ciudad y otorgará ganancias a los inversionistas.

The realization of this work tried on a Study of feasibility for the creation of a
factory dedicated to the production and commercialization of cookie cones for ice
cream in the city of Ibarra". The results obtained for the realization of this project
were the following ones: In the Situational Diagnosis the possibility was
determined of creating a factory dedicated to the production of commercialization
of cookie cones for ice cream in the city of Ibarra, since through the analysis of
opportunities, threats, waterings and allies settled down that it exists: the demand
of cookie cones on the part of the proprietors of heladerías of the city, the
consumption of ice cream in cookie cone on the part of people, the nonexistence
of local competition that carries out this activity of production and the weaknesses
of the competitors of other cities with regard to the product distribution. With the
realization of the market study the existence of unsatisfied demand was identified
that for the year 2012 are of 1.488.879 cone units, this quantity is increased
approximately every year in 11.5%, it was also determined to give a value added
to the cookie cone making that these they have specific flavors as chocolate,
vanilla, coconut, strawberry, lemon, orange, Moorish etc. The technical study
allowed to identify the location of the factory that will be in the city of Ibarra,
parish The Sacrarium, neighborhood Tiny Ajaví; it was also identified the
processes of production of the cookie cone and the total investment of the project
of $20.062,31. through the Financial Study settled down that the project to carry
out is profitable since the V.A.N. it is positive in $22458,16 and the T.I.R. that
gives the project it is of 39% of profitability, also that the time of recovery of the
investment will be approximately in two years. Therefore a positive impact of the
project settled down with regard to the social and economic because this it will
generate employment sources, will help to the industrial development of the city
and it will grant earnings to the investors.
