This commitment is supported by human and material resources and educational planning which provide our students with the technical and conceptual tools for them to be able to deal with a scenario in which visual arts encompass an increasingly wider range of professional and cultural practices. To achieve this, the curriculum includes two distinct programs: “Fine Arts” and “Visual Arts and Design”. These objectives are met, on the one hand, through the design of our facilities, which primarily considers accessibility for students and offers them a wide range of specific Workspaces, and on the other hand, through our teaching and technical staff, who are committed to an active and personalized attention towards our students. In the context of the transformation of the university studies into the European space for higher education the former PhD programs must be transform in a Master structure. In that path, Altea Fine Arts School is actually working in a new Master in interdisciplinary art projects to be offered as of September 2013. The University and the School want to take this task as an opportunity to create a curriculum that responds to the new challenge of contemporary art and culture. In that sense the school is searching for giving an international dimension to the program through an exchange program with other Universities. The master will allow the students to develop interdisciplinary artistic projects in contact with different learning contexts. The students who attend the whole program will be UMH students and they will get the Master certification from the UMH. Some of these students will be able to attend a semester at partner Universities. The students from partner Universities will be able to attend and specific summer workshop. Avda. Benidorm.
