ACT is a call for emerging artists from the
contemporary Performing arts scene. ACT is part
of a network of European Festivals called IYMT,
International Young Makers in Transit.
ACT aims to promote and endorse the work of
emerging artists and to present it to the media,
programmers, directors, professionals and to an
open audience.
ACT es una convocatoria para piezas cortas de
artistas emergentes de la escena contemporanea.
ACT pertenece a una red de festivales europeos
llamada IYMT, International Young Makers in
Transit.
ACT tiene como objetivo fundamental potenciar y
difundir la labor de l@s nuev@s creador@s ante
público, profesión y medios de comunicación.
ACT is ACTING.
ACT es ACTUACIÓN.
ACT it is not just a Festival but also a Performing
Arts Fair since 2011 attended by programmers
from all Europe.
ACT wants to be a meeting point between the
professionals from the Performing Arts, Schools,
and emerging artists, bridging the gap between the
training world and those artists already established.
ACT commits to support those creators in taking a
risk and looking for new ways of creating.
ACT no sólo es un Festival sino que desde el 2011
se ha convertido en feria de artes escénicas a la
que acuden programadores de toda Europa.
ACT pretende ser un punto de encuentro entre
profesionales de la escena, escuelas y nuevos
creadores, tendiendo puentes entre el mundo de la
formación y el de los artistas consolidados.
ACT apuesta por todos aquellos que arriesgan en
sus propuestas y por nuevos formatos.

CONTEST, short pieces from emerging international
artists will be showcased. The winners will be awarded
with the ACT Prize.
EGITARAU PEDAGOGIKOA, atal honetan maisu
klaseak, ikastaroak eta hitzaldiak izango dira
profesional eta irakasleek emanak.

ZER ESKAINTZEN DUEN ACTek
WHAT DOES ACT OFFER?
¿QUÉ OFRECE ACT?
ACT Festival covers accommodation and meals
(lunch and dinner) and free tickets to all the events
for the participants during the stay in the festival,
but doesn’t cover any travel expenses.

Alojamiento, comida y cena e invitaciones para
todos los eventos que se produzcan durante toda la
semana del festival. No se hace cargo del gasto de
viajes.
Ostatua, bazkari eta afaria, doako sarrera eta
gonbidapenak ikuskizun guztietara eskaintzen ditu
baina ez ditu bidaien gastuak ordaintzen.

CONCURSO, se presentan a concurso las piezas
cortas seleccionadas de nuevos creadores
escénicos. Los ganadores se llevan el premio ACT.
PROGRAMA PEDAGÓGICO, cursos, clases
magistrales y charlas a cargo de diferentes
profesionales y pedagogos.
ACTmosfera, espacios de encuentro y debate
entre creadores y programadores.

LEHIAKETAN arte eszenikoetako eszena sortzaile
berriek parte hartu ahal izango dute. Eszena lanok ezin
izango dute 30 minututik gora iraun. Lanok edozein
eszena motatan eginak izan daitezke (antzerkia, dantza,
keinua, zirkoa, …).
CONTEST, Act seeks short pieces made by
upcoming artists with a maximum length of 30
minutes. The performances can be any sort of
existing Performing Art (theatre, dance, circus,
mime...).
If the length exceeds the agreed 35 minutes the
piece could be subject of penalty.
CONCURSO,
buscamos piezas escénicas de
creadores emergentes con una duración máxima
de 30 minutos. Podrán ser realizadas en
cualquiera de los lenguajes escénicos existentes
(teatro, danza, gesto, circo...).
Si la duración excediera los 35 minutos acordados
la pieza podrá ser penalizada.
Iraupenak adostutako 35 minutuak gaindituko balituzke
lana zigortua gerta liteke.
Hautatutako lanak ACT Jaialdiaren egitarau barnean
antzeztu beharko dira egituratutako programazioaren
arabera.
Bere sustapenerako ACT Jaialdiak hautatutako lanen
bideo emisio zein argazkien eskubideak izango ditu
jaialdia gertatzen ari dela zein aurreko eta osteko
egunetan.
Arte eszenikoetako profesional desberdinez osatutako
epaimahai independente batek, jaialdiaren azken
egunean irabazlea nor den jakitera emango du.
- 2.000 euroko ACT saria hilabeteko egoitza
artistiko batekin batera gain ordainsari gabeko
ondorengo aipamenak ere egongo dira.
- ACT DURI Saria Nazioarteko sortzaile berri
onenari, Seuleko Duri Dance Theatre-en
egitarauan emankizun bat
gastu guztiak
ordainduta.

The pieces will be shown during the ACT Festival’s
week following the program scheduled by the festival.
ACT Festival will keep the broadcasting rights of the
selected video creations for its own promotion, before
and around the dates of the event.
The winner will be announced by an independent
committee of professionals from the Performing Arts
on the last day of the festival.

support a new work and a month residency in

ACT DURI Prize to Best International Emerging
Artist consisting on a date in Seul at the Duri
Dance Theatre with all the expenses covered. –

Las piezas seleccionadas se mostraran en el
transcurso del Festival ACT según lo programado.
ACT dispondrá de los derechos de emisión de los
videos del espectáculo así como de la publicación
de las fotos para promocionar el evento antes y
alrededor de las fechas de dicho festival.
Un jurado independiente compuesto por diferentes
profesionales de la escena fallará las/los
ganadores el último día del festival.

producción de un nuevo proyecto y 1
residencia de 1 mes de duración en
BAIBAIUA.
