Seminar on emergency management for local government officials for Latin
America, Caribbean and South Pacific Ocean Region
Descripción:
As a key developing subject of our college, emergency management has developed
rapidly; we conduct academic exchange with foreign countries and host trainings
and seminars each year domestically.
This training consists of three parts of lectures of special topics, on-site
visit and external visit.
The lectures of special topics mainly include: (1) Introduction to emergency
management theory; (2) Introduction to Chinese emergency management laws, and
introduction to the construction of emergency management system; (3)
Introduction to the emergency response ability of the officials; (4)
Introduction to the emergency disposal methods for natural disasters, public
events emergency response, public health emergency response and disaster
emergency response, etc.
Visits to Beijing and Tianjin will also be arranged for the officials of this
training, they will learn the introduction to city construction and development
experience by local officials, and they will also visit and investigate related
emergency response centers, so as to increase their perceptual knowledge.
In addition to the official activities, the officials will also be arranged to
experience traditional Chinese culture and to visit places of historic interest
and scenic beauty.

Beneficios:

Requisitos:
Under 45 for officials at or under directors level; under 50 for officials at
director generals level.
In good health with health certificate issued by the local public hospitals;
without diseases with which entry to China is disallowed by Chinas laws and
regulations; without severe chronic diseases such as serious high blood
pressure, cardiovascular/cerebrovascular diseases and diabetes; without metal
diseases or epidemic diseases that are likely to cause serious threat to public
health; not in the process of recovering after a major operation or in the
process of acute diseases; not seriously disabled or pregnant.
Being able to listen, speak and write English
No family members, relatives or friends shall accompany the trainee during the
training in China

Una vez asignada la beca hay que llevar a China tarjetas de presentación o
visita, cuatro (4) fotos de tamaño carné.
