Estimados miembros;
Es un placer poder servirles como voluntario de la Sección IEEE Puerto Rico y Caribe por más de 8 años. Dentro
de la Sección he ocupado diferentes posiciones con sus retos y distinciones. Les propongo continuar la muy buena
labor de mis pasados Presidentes de Sección y seguir creciendo como miembros de esta organización. Durante
mi incumbencia fortaleceré nuestras metas con los estudiantes, jóvenes profesionales, profesores y profesionales.
Gracias a ellos tenemos la gran diversidad de ofrecer presentaciones, visitas técnicas y continuo desarrollo para
nuestro bien común y avances tecnológicos para la humanidad.
La IEEE Sección Puerto Rico y Caribe integra en estos precisos momentos el grupo de afinidad de las mujeres
ingenieras por sus siglas (WIE) y también más oportunidades para proyectos comunitarios y ayuda humanitaria
con la adición del grupo (SIGHTS). Nuestra representación como Sección incluye mayor intercambio con nuestra
Subsección de la Republica Dominicana quien cuenta con muchos miembros interesados en continuar
desarrollando sus capacidades y conocimientos con el resto de la región 9 y el resto del mundo IEEE.
Actualmente contamos con una Subsección que es Republica Dominicana y tres (3) ramas estudiantiles en la
Sección. Tenemos un muy buen contacto con la rama estudiantil de Haití que al momento cuenta con 12
miembros. Estoy a su mejor disposición para sugerencias, recomendaciones y continuidad de crecimiento de esta
organización.

Dear members;
It is a pleasure to serve you as a volunteer for IEEE Puerto Rico and Caribbean Section for more than 8 years.
Within the section I have held different positions with its challenges and distinctions. I propose to continue the
good work of my past Section Presidents and to continue growth as members of this great organization. During
my incumbency, I will strengthen our goals with students, young professionals, professors and professionals.
Because of them we have a great diversity of offering presentations, technical visits and continuous development
for our common good in advancing technology for humanity.
The IEEE Puerto Rico and Caribbean Section integrates at the moment the affinity group of Women in
Engineering by its acronym (WIE) and also more opportunities for community projects and humanitarian aid
with the addition of the Group (SIGHTS). Our representation as Section includes greater sharing with our
subsection members of the Dominican Republic who has many interested members in continuing the development
of their skills and knowledge with the rest of the region 9 and the world in IEEE.
We currently have a Subsection in the Dominican Republic and three (3) student branches in the Section. We
have also a good contact with the student branch of Haiti, which at the time has 12 members. I am available for
your suggestions, recommendations and continued growth of this organization.
