ELTA is primarily a school of Spoken English and it is the only accredited Callan Method school in
Ireland. It is one of only three schools in the English-speaking world accredited by the Callan
Method Organisation, and it is also the only Callan Method School that is recognised by the National
Qualifications Authority of Ireland. At ELTA two hours per day are devoted to Spoken English and two
hours are devoted to General English (including exam preparation). The Intensive Course consists of

Waterford’s oldest government-recognised year round language school. We have recently moved to
a beautiful Georgian building which has been refurbished to incorporate bright, spacious, modern
classrooms in a peaceful location only five-minutes walk from the city centre. Our highly-qualified and
enthusiastic staff welcome adult and junior learners and we have unrivalled experience at organising
quality accommodation for our students either in vetted host families or well-located self-catering
apartments. Our action-packed Summer School is held in the safe, tranquil and spacious environs of
the Ursuline School and we have spent many years developing our Academic Year Programme which
allows international students to completely embrace Irish educational, sporting, family and cultural life
for periods from 3 months to several years, fully supported by a dedicated pastoral care team.

The Slaney Language Centre provides quality tuition for adult language learners, professionals and
families throughout the world. We are a small school where personal attention is given to each student.
We pride ourselves on our low student-tutor ratio. The maximum number of students in any one level
group is only eight (ten in July and August). We are located in a castle building with beautiful views over
the countryside.We have five bright classrooms, a common room where students and teachers enjoy
a chat at breaktime and a self-study room. Specialised courses include English courses for families, a
Celtic Culture Course for people over 50 and a Study during the Wexford Festival Opera Course.

ATC is located on the seafront in Bray, just south of Dublin city centre. We offer year round courses for
adults and juniors (closed groups) in 20 modern classrooms. Additional facilities include a student
library, recreation room, study centre and a computer room with 25 PCs. We offer host family and
residential accommodation in ATC owned student apartments and residence within walking distance
of the school. ATC also offer one of the most comprehensive ranges of junior summer residential

We are an owner managed school with over 24 years experience and are long standing members of
IALC (International Association of Language Centres). We offer adult English courses and intensive
or long term Cambridge & IELTS exam courses. PACE is situated in the beautiful seaside town of
Bray, just south of Dublin city offering learners the best of both worlds, small town with easy access
to a capital city. Our location also offers a fantastic destination for mini-stay groups, all year round.
We operate two summer schools, one in Bray and the other in Dublin which specialises in English
