CONDICIONES DE REVISIÓN
Todos los motores enviados a SEAT Sport para su revisión deben ser adjuntados con el
impreso de “petición de revisión”, que encontrarán al final de este documento y que pueden
descargar en este mismo apartado de nuestra página web, indicando la razón de la revisión,
comentarios o problemas especiales, etc. Es muy importante indicar correctamente el número
de identificación del motor que se encuentra en una etiqueta situada en la cubierta de la
distribución (véase debajo).

Tras la recepción de la pieza a revisar se informará al cliente y se procederá a la revisión.
Cualquier pieza que llegue a nuestros almacenes sin esta hoja no podrá ser revisada por falta
de información.

CONDICIONES MOTOR PARA REVISIÓN
•
El motor tienen un número de identificación y unos precintos de SEAT Sport que deben
encontrarse en condiciones correctas. Si faltase uno de los precintos, SEAT Sport
considerará la pieza en cuestión como no válida y esta deberá ser reemplazada.
•
El motor debe encontrarse limpio y con todos los agujeros cubiertos o protegidos con
el fin de evitar incidentes en el transporte.
•
El motor debe ser enviado correctamente con un soporte (prestar especial atención a
la protección del cárter de aceite motor).
Vista frontal y trasera de la disposición con la que deben ser enviados los motores a
SEAT Sport.
No necesario: Alternador, Polea AA, Manguitos agua, Tubo catch tank
* Motores TCR: Volante de inercia no es necesario.

Si alguna de las condiciones arriba expuestas no son cumplidas, el tiempo del
servicio o los costes podrán ser incrementados.
SEAT Sport realizará una prueba previa para conocer el estado del hardware del
motor. Si el motor no pasa esta prueba, SEAT Sport finalizará la revisión e informará al
cliente acerca de la imposibilidad de reparar. El cliente tendrá la posibilidad de
adquirir una nueva unidad.

REPARACIÓN MOTOR : PRECIO REPARACION COMPLETA : 5.400 €
En la prueba de pre-evaluación SEAT Sport comprobará lo siguiente:
- Compresiones de los cilindros
- Estado del Hardware, interno y externo. (Endoscopio y/o control de medidas)
La revisión que SEAT Sport realizará es:
Desmontaje y montaje completo del motor
Comprobación del Sistema de distribución
Comprobación dimensional del bloque y culata
Comprobación del volante de inercia bimasa
Comprobación y/o sustitución de los semicojinetes internos
Control de los componentes eléctricos y del cableado
Sustitución del turbocompresor
Sustitución de bujías y de aceite y filtros
Prueba de banco, prueba dinámica y prueba de potencia
Limpieza y sellado

All the engines that will arrive to SEAT Sport for being revised should be attached with the
revision request form, that is included in this document and you can download in this section
of our website, indicating the reason for the service, comments or special failure, etc.
. It is very important to indicate correctly the engine identification number that is located on a
label in the distribution cover (see below).

The revision form should also be sent with the spare part attached. Without this information
the revision will be impossible to be done.

ENGINE SERVICE TERMS
•
The SEAT Leon Cup Racer engines must have the engine number and SEAT Sport
verification seals in right conditions. If one of the seals is missed, SEAT Sport will
consider a not valid part and it will have to be changed.
•
The engine has to be clean, all holes must be covered or protected and wiring looms
correctly fixed to avoid transport incidents.
•
The engine has to be sent in a correct basement (pay special attention to the
protection of the engine oil sump).

Not necessary: Alternator, Pulley AA, Water pipes, Catch tank pipe.
* TCR Engines: Engine fly wheel solid is not necessary.

If any of the above conditions are not satisfied, the service timing or costs may be
increased.
SEAT Sport will make a pre evaluation test to know the engine hardware status. If the
engine did not pass this test, SEAT Sport will stop the revision and will inform to the
customer about the impossibility to repair it and the customer will have to buy a new
unit.

Check and/or change of the internal bearings
Electric components control and wirings
Turbocharger change
Sparkplugs, oil and oil filter substitution
Test bench, dynamic running + power check
