Comments to the report
Here we present all the numerical values obtained for determining the superiority of the
proposed filter in the article Localized Rank-Ordered Differences Vector Filter for suppression
of high-density impulse noise in color images. We have performed a statistical study on 50
images. This file is available at

Ratio in which a filter is in the top positions
In Tables 1-4 we show the percentage of times a filter is in the top positions for each
quality measure and each density of impulsive noise. Fixing a density of impulsive noise
(p = 0.1, 0.2, 0.4, 0.6, 0.8), and a quality mesure (NCD, PSNR, CSSIM) we define N1 as the
number of times a filter has the best quality measure value and Nk , k > 0, as the number of
Nk
times a filter is in the k top positions. Tables 1-4 show the percentages 100 k·50
, k = 1, . . . , 4
respectively. It can be seen that most times LRODF is in the first position (Table 1) and
that it also has the best performance when we take into account the top two (Table 2), three
(Table 3) or four (Table 4) best values for the three quality measures.

Quality mesure results of the fifty considered images
In Tables 5-54 we show all the numerical values for the three quality measures considered (NCD, PSNR and CSSIM) and for the different densities of impulsive noise (p =
0.1, 0.2, 0.4, 0.6, 0.8). Table 5 corresponds to image 01 (Aerial21), Table 6 corresponds to
image 02 (AtlasD), and so on. The last table, Table 54, corresponds to image 50 (Tulips).
In each table we also show the name and the size of each image.
