IMMEX program has been suspended
or cancelled

On July 13, 2012, the Ministry of
Economy through the Mexican
Official Gazette published the
names and numbers of the
companies which has been
suspended of an IMMEX Program
(Program), due to the fail in
fulfilling with the specific
provisions of this Program.
It is worth to mention that the
suspension could turn into
cancelling the IMMEX Program
until the obligations omitted are
not fulfilled. If the Program is
definitely cancelled, the companies
will have to return all the goods
temporarily imported in a specific
time and/or pay the corresponding
custom taxes.
