INTRODUCTION
This guide tries to help international students regarding the content of the subjects of the 6-year
diploma in civil engineering “Ingeniería de Caminos, Canales y Puertos”. This degree is
progressively being discontinued due to the introduction of the new degrees Bachelor + Master.
Only subjects of the 4th, 5th and 6th years can still be done.
Please try to have always the last version of this document from our web page

OVERVIEW OF COURSES
This degree includes 6 years. Optional subjects are offered at 5th and 6th years depending on
the specialization chosen: 1) Structures and Foundations; 2) Hydraulics and Energy; 3)
Transports; 4) Urban Planning and Environment. Description of courses is limited to 4th, 5th and
6th years.
