How will Clearwater Beach employees get to work on Saturday, Nov. 11?
Shuttles will run continuously from downtown Clearwater to North Clearwater
Beach (Mandalay Avenue) from 4 a.m. to 6 p.m. on race day. Shuttles will also
run continuously from Sand Key Park to South Clearwater Beach. In addition,
PSTA will be running buses to Island Estates.
PSTA has been handing out flyers to the Saturday Route 80 riders for the past
few weeks letting them know about the change. They will have a bilingual
representative on-site at the Park Street Terminal on race day to help people get
to their beach destinations. Directions for PSTA riders are as follows:
•
Riders who are going to locations south of the roundabout will be directed
to take the buses going to South Beach via Belleair and the Sand Key
Bridge.
•
Riders going to areas of North Beach will take the bus to Island Estates
and exit at Island Estates. Shuttles will pick up riders at Island Estates and
drop them off at the north beach shuttle stop on Mandalay Avenue.
•
PSTA will resume normal routes at 4 p.m.
Additional travel time should be factored into employee's Saturday commute.
Traffic may be heavy and shuttles are expected to be full.
The Jolley Trolley will not be operating throughout the city until 5 p.m. on race
day. The PSTA representatives at Park Street will advise people looking for the
Trolleys to take the buses.

Clearwater el Sábado 11 de Noviembre?
Camiones viajarán continuamente del centro de Clearwater a la parte Norte de la
Playa (Mandalay Avenida) de las 4 am á las 6 pm el día de la carrera. Camiones
tambíen viajarán continuamente del Parque de Sandy Key á la parte Sur de La
Playa de Clearwater. Adicionalmente, PSTA tendrá camiones en ruta a Island
Estates.
PSTA ha distribuido información a los pasajeros en la Ruta 80 de los Sábados
en las últimas semanas avisandoles de los cambios. Habrá un representante
bilingüe en la terminal de la calle de Park éste Sábado para ayudar que la gente
llegue a sus destinos en la playa. Direcciones para los pasajeros en los
camiones del PSTA:
•
Pasajeros con destinos a locales al sur de la glorieta (en la Playa de
Clearwater) deberán tomar los camiones que viajan por los puentes de
Belleair y Sand Key.
•
Pasajeros con destinos a las partes Norte de la Playa de Clearwater
deberán tomar el camion a Island Estates y bajarse ahí. Otros camiones
ahí los llevarán a las partes Norte de la Playa de Clearwater.
•
El servicio de camiones del PSTA regrasará a los tiempos normales a
partir de las 4 de la tarde.
Cuenten con tiempo adicional para viajar a su destino final. Habrá mucho tráfico
y los camiones a la playa estarán muy llenos.
El Jolley Trolley no viajará en la ciudad de Clearwater hasta las 5 de la tarde el
Sábado. Representantes del PSTA avisarán á pasajeros buscando el Trolley que
usen los camiones.
