Three-month practisses at IGME
Collaboration in the project MAS Dendro-Avenidas (CGL2010-19274) directed by Dr.
Andrés Díez Herrero and supervised by Dr. Juan Antonio Ballesteros Cánovas.
Activities carried out:
-Field data acquisition.
-Rain gauge data recollected
-One-week of field work in Pyrenees applying: dendrogeomorphologycal methods and
laser scanner analysis.
-Morphologycal analysis of roots with Georadar.
2012 Complutense University of Madrid, Spain
Ten-days scientific cruise on board of the `Hespérides´ research vessel part of the
“ZEE-2012” project.
Oceanographic cruise in order to extend the Spanish continental shelf carrying out a
geophysical survey to the West of the Canary islands on board of the ´Hespérides´
research vessel of the Spanish Armada. Worked in the acquisition of gravimetric and
magnetic field data and managed of marine gravimeter and magnetometer. Worked in data
processing using Oasis software.

Three-months practices at IGME to implement my master project.
The project is about the reconstruction of torrential and climate history in a mountain
river in Guadarrama Mountain (Spain) using dendrogeomorphologycal methods. For this,
has been done a dendrogeomorphologycal sampling, geomorphologycal mapping
(ArcGis), raingauge data analysis and historical study. Suppervisor. Dr. Juan Antonio
Ballesteros Cánovas and Dr. Juan de Dios Centeno carrillo
