F5 and F6- We´ve got talent 2016

Dear Parents of Form 5 and Form 6 students,
We are pleased to announce the date for this year’s “We’ve Got Talent!” This annual, noncompetitive variety show is a fund raising activity organized by members of the Leaders
Programme from Year 5 in the Senior School. Their aim is to raise funds for an educational activity
they organize and share with 1st Liceo students.
“We´ve Got Talent!”
Saturday, 4th June
at 1530 in the School
Auditorium.
The aim of “We’ve Got Talent!” is to open a space for the Form 5 and Form 6 Junior students to
share their talents in areas such as singing, dancing and acting, as well as to promote interaction
between Junior and the Senior students who lead the activity.
There will be 2 rehearsals both from 1620 - 1730:
1. Monday 30th May.
2. Thursday 2nd June.
These will take place in the Senior School. As there are no major sporting events for Form 5 &
Form 6 students on the week-end of the show, participants are permitted to miss sports practices
after school on the days of the rehearsals.
The show will take place on Saturday, 4th June, starting at 1530 in the Auditorium, with an
estimated finishing time of 1800.
We are delighted to invite parents, families and friends to attend the show. To support the fund
raising we request a contribution of $130 entrance per person.
Wrist Bands must be purchased in advance; these will be on sale from Tuesday 24th to Friday 27th
May in the Junior Main Corridor at morning break (1040). Students who perform will have 2
tickets reserved for their families.
Tickets will not be on sale on the day of the performance. We remind you that, due to safety
measures, once the capacity is reached, we will not allow more people into the Auditorium. No
Students will be allowed to watch the performances if they have not booked a ticket in advance.
(This does not apply to the students performing in the show, nor to 5th YL Leaders).

Estimados Padres de Alumnos de Form 5 y Form 6:
Tenemos el agrado de anunciarles la fecha de “We’ve Got Talent!” de este año. Este show de
variedades, no competitivo, es una actividad organizada para recaudar fondos para el programa
de Líderes de 5º año de Senior y su salida educativa con alumnos de 1° de Liceo.
“We´ve Got Talent!”
Sábado, 4 de junio
a las 1530 en el
Auditorio.
El objetivo de esta actividad es permitir a los alumnos de Form 5 y Form 6 la oportunidad de
exponer y compartir sus talentos o habilidades en áreas como el canto, el baile, actuación, etc, así
como también generar un espacio de interacción entre alumnos de Junior y alumnos de Senior, ya
que los alumnos de 5° del Senior serán quienes acompañen a los alumnos de Junior en esta
experiencia.
Tendremos dos ensayos, ambos de 1620 a 1730:
1. lunes 30 de mayo.
2. jueves 2 de junio,
Los ensayos serán en el edificio del Senior, en el cual los alumnos del Junior trabajarán con sus
líderes. Los alumnos de Junior tienen autorización para faltar a sus prácticas deportivas, ya que
no hay actividad planificada para ellos ese fin de semana.
El show tendrá lugar el sábado, 4 de junio, comenzando a las 1530 en el Auditorio. Hora
estimada de finalización: 1800.
Tenemos el agrado de invitar a padres, familiares y amigos a asistir al show. Teniendo en cuenta
que este evento es para recaudar fondos, les informamos que la entrada costará $ 130 por persona.
Las entradas estarán a la venta (pulseras) la semana del martes 24 al viernes 27 de junio, en el
corredor principal de Junior, durante el recreo de la mañana (1040). Los alumnos que participan
en el show tienen aseguradas 2 entradas para sus familias.
Les recordamos que no se venderán entradas el día del espectáculo y que por razones de
seguridad, dado que los lugares en el Auditorio son limitados, no podremos permitir el ingreso
de más personas luego de alcanzado el cupo. También en pos de la seguridad del espectáculo,
deseamos puntualizar que no se permitirá ingresar a ningún alumno al show sin entrada. (Esto
excluye a los alumnos de Form 5 y Form 6 que participan y a los Líderes de 5°).
