Iberoamerikanska samlingen är en specialsamling med
böcker och tidskrifter från och om Spanien, Portugal och
Latinamerika. Den ämnesmässiga tyngdpunkten ligger
inom samhällsvetenskap på politik och sociala förhållanden och inom humaniora på historia och litteratur.
The Iberoamerican Collection is a special collection of
books and periodicals from and about Spain, Portugal
and Latin America. The collection focuses mainly on
politics and social conditions within the Social Sciences,
and on history and literature within the Humanities.
La Colección Iberoamericana es una colección
especializada en libros y publicaciones periódicas de/y
sobre España, Portugal y Latinoamérica. El enfoque de
la colección está en las ciencias políticas y cuestiones
sociales dentro de las Ciencias Sociales, y en la historia y
literatura dentro de las Humanidades.
Materialet kan sökas i bibliotekskatalogen GUNDA
eller i den nationella katalogen LIBRIS. En del av den
äldre samlingen måste dock sökas på plats.
Searching the collection can be made through the library
catalogue GUNDA or through the national catalogue
LIBRIS. Some parts of the older collections can however
only be accessed at the library.
La colección se busca por medio del catálogo GUNDA,
o del catálogo colectivo nacional LIBRIS. Las partes
más antiguas de la colección se tienen que buscar en la
misma biblioteca.
Samlingen startades 1939 inom Iberoamerikanska
institutet av Nils Hedberg, som byggde upp den
genom inköp, donationer och bytesförbindelser med
den spansk- och portugisisktalande världen - ett arbete
som fortlever. Bland senare donationer märks professor
emeritus Magnus Mörners bibliotek.
The collection was initiated at the Ibero-American
Institute in 1939 by Nils Hedberg, who gradually through
purchases, donations and exchange from the Portugese
and Spanish speaking world succeeded in establishing
the collection – a work continued. Among the later
donations worth mentioning is the library of Professor
Emeritus Magnus Mörner.
La colección se fundó en 1939 dentro del Instituto
Iberoamericano por Nils Hedberg, quien la desarolló por
medio de compras, donaciones y canjes con el mundo de
habla española y portuguesa – trabajo continuo. Dentro
de las donaciones recientes, destaca la biblioteca del
profesor emérito Magnus Mörner.
Sedan 2007 är samlingen en del av Göteborgs
universitetsbibliotek.
Since 2007 the collection is part of the Gothenburg
University Library.
La colección forma parte de la Biblioteca Universitaria
de Gotemburgo desde 2007.
I verksamheten kring samlingen deltar Universitetsbiblioteket i de europeiska latinamerikasamlingarnas
nätverk Redial, bl.a. i arbetet med dess webbportal över
europeiska latinamerikastudier.
Among the activities surrounding the collection, the
University Library participates in Redial, the network
of the European Latin American collections, contributing
to its web portal for European studies on Latin America.
Dentro de las actividades desarrolladas alrededor de la
colección, la Biblioteca Universitaria participa en Redial,
Red Europea de Información y Documentación sobre
América Latina, y su trabajo con el portal de estudios
europeos sobre América Latina.
