Our records indicate that on the date, time and location shown on this notice the vehicle listed below traveled on the Metro ExpressLanes without a valid FasTrak® transponder. California Vehicle Code Section 23302 (b) requires that all vehicles, including carpoolers, using the Metro ExpressLanes have a FasTrak® transponder with a balance sufficient to pay the toll amount. If you do not resolve this matter by XX/XX/XXXX, the violation will escalate to a second notice with additional penalties.
