Priest Retreat—Boise
Father Jorge will be out of the office the week of
September 12—16 at a Priest Retreat in Boise. No
Mass on September 13 and 14. We will have
Communion Service on September 15 followed by
24 hour Adoration, concluding with Communion
Service on September 16.
The best time to go to church and give thanks to
God is anytime of day or night.
Sunday is the day of the Lord, anytime is great to
go to the Church and give thanks to him for his
abundant blessings and gifts.
2011 Idaho Catholic Appeal
Campaign—Update
Thank you for your gift to the 2011 Idaho Catholic
Appeal. Our 2011 parish goal is $21,434.00. So
far 88 families have contributed, 87.6% of our
generous parishioners have pledged $18,785. If
you have not yet made your commitment, please
be generous, according to your means. You can
also make your pledge here at the church by
filling out a pledge envelope located in the vestibule of the church and dropping it in the collection
basket.
New Mass and Religious Education Times
Effective the weekend of September 17 & 18, the
masses will be as follows:
Saturdays at 5pm @ Immaculate Conception
Sunday 8:00 am in English
@ Immaculate Conception
10:00 am @ St. Catherine’s
12:00 pm Spanish @ Immaculate Conception
Religious Education @ ICC from 9:30 am
to 10:30 am.
All Eucharist Ministers, Lectors, and Altar Servers if
you did the 10:30 am mass now you will be
assigned to the 8:00 am mass.
The office will be closed on September 5th in
observance of Labor Day.

Clases de Educacion Religiosa
Empezaremos las inscripciones de los niños
para la Educacion Religiosa en September 10
y 11, 2011 después de cada misa.
Es necesario, obligatono traer el Certificado
de Bautismo para la inscripción todos los niños que se van a preparar para la Primera
Comunion. Inclusive para todos los niños
que fueron bautizados en nuestra Parroquia
de la Immaculada Conception.
La Campaña Católica del Diezmo
comenzó el domingo, 20 de marzo, del 2011.
La diócesis asigno como meta a la parroquia
de Inmaculada Concepción la cantidad de
$21,434 para este año.
Hemos recibido 84 contribuciones aportando
un total de $18,087. Lo cual nos deja un saldo de $2,649.00. Estamos orando para que
podamos lograr la participación de todas las
familias y podamos lograr la meta sin mayor
esfuerzo. Favor de llamar a la oficina, si tiene alguna pregunta. ¡Gracias a todos aquellos que han dando!

costo por el ano es de $17.00. Puedes tomar un sobre y marearlo con este prosito. Si tu no lo have la
parroquia esta obligada a pagar por ti y la cuenta total es de $2,141.00. Gracias por tu colaboración y
noble corazón con respecto a esta asunto. El sobre lo
puedes colocar en la canasta de las ofrendas o llevarlo a la oficina. Dios te bendiga.

subscription to the Idaho Catholic Register. At
present we have $2,141.00 of unpaid subscriptions. When a family does not pay their subscriptions it becomes the responsibility of the parish to
cover the cost. If you have not paid yet please do
so by dropping your registration in the collection
basket or by the office.

Religious Education
Registration for Religious Education will start the
weekend of September 10 & 11, 2011 after each of
the Masses. As a reminder that if your child will be
doing their First Communion this year that a copy of
his/her Baptism Certificate is needed even if they did
their Baptism at Immaculate Conception.
It is required by the Diocese that 60%
of the registered families receive the
register in their home.
Please be responsible for your portion..
Special Blessing
On Saturday September 10, 2011 at the 5pm
mass Father Jorge will be giving a special
blessing to John and EllaMae Glister as they
celebrate their 65th Wedding Anniversary.
Homebound
25th Anniversary—Father Jorge Garcia
On Saturday, September 17th Father Jorge and
John Wasko will be visiting our home bound
Parishioners. If you would like to join them please
let John Wasko know ASAP.
On Friday, September 30, we will be hosting an
anniversary dinner and mass to celebrate Father
Jorge’s 25th Anniversary. We will have a 6pm
mass followed by dinner in the hall.

Saint Catherine's News
Medical Equipment
The Hagerman Senior Center has
medical equipment available for
those in need of handicap items,
such as walkers, chairs for showers, canes, crutches, etc.. Why buy
new items when these will work just
as well?
Thursday Services.
We will continue to have Adoration
from 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm on Thursdays. Mass will be held at 6:00 pm.
Confessions will be heard from
5:00 pm to 6:00 pm.
Fair time.
We need ten to twelve volunteers
to work at the Immaculate Conception food booth at the Twin Falls
County Fair in Filer, on Sunday September 4th. We will be working
from 10:00 am to 4:30 pm. Last
year we earned 5% of our annual
budget from this event, so, it is important to us. See Bob Lorkowski.

free ticket to get into the fair
grounds.
