that the Contracting Parties
may, by mutual consent, introduce into the Convention nmodifications which are not opposed
to its spirit, and which are obvionsly useful, o• maybe proved
to be so by experience, the
Undersigned, Sir Henry Nevill
Uering, a Baronet of England, a
Companion of the Most Henoumble Order of the Bath, Her
Britannic Majesty's Envoy Extraordinary and \linister Plenipotentiary in Mexico, &e., &c.,
&c., and Ignacio Pdariscal, Secretary of State and of the Department of :Foreign Relations of
the United States of Mexico,
duly authorized to that effect by
their respective Governments,

customs formalities, a charge
