Garbage Pickup
Monday and Thursday:
Garbage will be picked up from 49th St. up to 61st St.
from Bergenline Avenue to Boulevard East
including 60th St. and the south side of 61st St..
Recycle Pickup
Tuesday:
Recyclable materials will be picked up from 49th
St. to 56th St. and every Avenue from 49th to
60th St..
1. The town does not pick up construction materials
2. Please do not mix regular garbage with recyclables.
3. Call for pick up 24 hours in advance for such items as; refrigerators, stoves,
water heaters, and furniture at 201-295-5230. The town does not conduct
pick-ups on Saturday or Sunday.
4. All boxes should be flattened and tied.
As per ordinance #890, the garbage and recyclables have to be put out at the curb
the night before at approximately 8 p.m. or after. Also, the containers or barrels
should be kept behind or beside your property with the adequate covers and out of
pedestrian walkways.
