Hello Hartman Kindergarten Families!
This letter is to serve as a helping hand in preparing for your student’s upcoming
performance in “Goin’ to the Zoo.” The performance will take place on Thursday, November
12th at 7:00PM.
As you were informed in the information letter regarding this performance all participating
students/families are required to provide their own costume clothing and shoes. On the
reverse of this letter is a list of costume requirements. Please assemble your student’s
costume (shirt & pants or skirt, dress, etc.) according to these specifications. Your student
may wear any shoes with their costume, and all needed accessories will be provided by the
Music Department.
The costume design idea here is based in the hopes that your student will already have some
or all of the needed items available. In short, students will need an outfit in solid colors that
are specific to their assigned animal.
Please do not purchase an elaborate animal costume for your child to wear for the
performance as we want to maintain a sense of uniformity to go with the theme of the
performance and out of fairness to all of our little ones. If you have any questions regarding
if something you have in mind meets to requirements please do not hesitate to call me or
email me a picture and I will be happy to help.

Clothes required
Puppy:
solid shirt (NO PRINTS OR GRAPHICS!) and pants, shorts or skirt in tan or white;
example: white shirt with tan/khaki bottoms OR all the same color
Elephant:
solid shirt (NO PRINTS OR GRAPHICS!) and pants, shorts or skirt in gray shades;
example: light gray shirt with dark gray bottoms OR all the same color
Tiger:
solid shirt (NO PRINTS OR GRAPHICS!) and pants, shorts or skirt in orange or black;
example: orange shirt with black bottoms OR all the same color
Lion:
solid shirt (NO PRINTS OR GRAPHICS!) and pants, shorts or skirt in brown or yellow;
example: yellow shirt with brown pants OR all the same color
Rabbit:
solid shirt (NO PRINTS OR GRAPHICS!) and pants, shorts or skirt in white or gray;

*** Ms. Parker will provide the animal masks and any necessary accessories. Students may wear
any shoes they wish with their costume, but shoes that go along with their color
scheme would be ideal.
Hola familias de Hartman Kínder!
Esta carta es para pedirles ayuda en la preparación para la presentación musical de su
estudiante en "Vamos al zoológico". La actuación tendrá lugar el jueves 12 de
noviembre a las 7:00 p.m.
Como fue informado/a en la carta anterior con respecto a esta actuación todos los
estudiantes/familias participantes deben proporcionar su propio traje, ropa y zapatos. En
el reverso de esta carta está una lista de requerimientos del traje. Por favor, ensamble el
traje de su estudiante (camisa y pantalón o falda, vestido, etc.) según estas
especificaciones. Su estudiante puede usar zapatos con su disfraz; todos los accesorios
necesarios serán proporcionados por el Departamento de música.
Esto es con el propósito de que todos los estudiantes tengan algunos o todos los
elementos necesarios disponibles. En resumen, los estudiantes necesitan un atuendo en
colores sólidos que son específicos a su animal asignado.
Por favor, no compre un traje de animal elaborado (ya hecho) para su niño/a porque
queremos mantener un sentido de uniformidad con el tema y de igualdad para todos
nuestros pequeños. Si tienes alguna pregunta acerca de algo que tiene en mente o que
