TR started the execution of the hydrocracker at the CEPSA refinery

TR started the execution of the hydrocracker at the CEPSA refinery in Huelva Tecnicas Reunidas, TR, has started the engineering of the “hydrocraker” unit at the La Rabida refinery, in Huelva. This complex refinery unit is part of the general expansion of the refinery, which shall represent one of the most important projects of CEPSA in recent years. TR shall develop the detail engineering and provide the purchasing management services for this new project. This unit, whose capacity is of 42,000 barrels per day, shall allow doubling the current conversion capacity of the refinery. This type of units consists in a catalytic process of high pressure and temperature conditions in a hydrogen environment, whose purpose is to convert heavy hydrocarbons into medium distillations, fundamentally diesel oil. TR is currently in the final phase of execution of another two projects for CEPSA at the same complex of La Rabida: a unit of Aromax and a unit of cumene. TR is one of the main international engineering and construction companies of refinery units.
