NATIONAL PROCUREMENT SPECIALIST OPEX (M/F)
PUESTO:
El candidato estará encardo de desarrollar, garantizar y apoyar la aplicación de estrategias de
productos básicos del grupo y establecer los contratos (acuerdos marco). Entre las funciones
deberá garantizar el conocimiento en profundidad de los mercados locales mediante el uso de
todos los recursos disponibles y la información sobre el mercado.

Cliente:
Our client, a petrochemical multinational with several sites in Belgium, is looking for a Procurement
Specialist OPEX with a national responsibility.
DESCRIPCIÓN DE LA OFERTA:
- Develop, ensure and support implementation of group commodity strategies and established
contracts (Frame Agreements)
- Ensure in-depth knowledge of local markets by using all available resources and market
intelligence. Benchmark within the company and modify sourcing strategy accordingly as
necessary.
- Take initiatives to improve the (common) procurement processes and systems.
- Propose and implement new procedures and methods of working.

- Responsible for local and where required group procurement strategies, according to prevailing
Group Procedures, belonging to the delegated range of goods and services.
- Ensure update and maintenance of files, data bases and systems for his portfolio.
- Develop, executes and follows-up supplier quality and productivity improvement programs.
- Take responsibility for implementing safety measures and improvements within the site
function and towards suppliers.
- Interact pro-actively with the internal users in order to assure proper understanding of the
requirements
- Evaluate and manages the local supplier base
- Ensure timely involvement of the group buying teams in commercial /technical issues
- Participate in Group projects
- Handle expediting issues in a pro-active way and capable to settle claim related issues.
QUE BUSCAMOS:
- University degree or equivalent
- First working experience in a business related context (e.g. procurement, sales, marketing or
supply chain).
- Demonstrated ability to negotiate commercial deals
- Proven basic project management skills
- Basic contractual knowledge
- Experience in identifying, capturing and driving value opportunities forward
- Excellent problem solving ability
- Team player, good ability to work in multi-cultural and cross-functional teams
- Fluent in English (written and verbal), knowledge of Dutch is a plus.
- Good IT skills / Interest (Microsoft tools + SAP).
