El trabajo está bien estructurado y utiliza bibliografía adecuada. Es el primero
que estima la flotabilidad de huevos embrionados de puestas naturales de
Thunnus thynnus. Los resultados son de interés para el cultivo de esta especie
en particular y de aplicación para otras especies de gran porte cultivadas en
jaulas en el mar.
La información obtenida permitirá el mejor diseño de estructuras para
recolectar huevos en el mar y podrían ser de aplicación en otros ámbitos de
investigación en ecología marina.
Los autores podrían añadir al final de Material y método la frase:
“y el volumen de huevo calculado (4/3 πr3)” y borrarlo en la cuarta línea de
Resultados.
The paper is well structured and the bibliographic references are used
adequately. The paper estimates the buoyancy of embryonated eggs from
natural spawning of Thunnus thynnus for the first time.
The results are applicable to the culture of this species as well as other sized
large species cultured in cages.
The information obtained will allow a better design of structures to collect eggs
at sea and they could be applied in other areas of marine research (ecology).
The authors could add the phrase: “and the egg volume calculated (4/3 πr3)” at
the end of Materials and methods, and delete it in Results section (line 4).
