Why can I not authorize an admission by phone?
In telephone authorizations, they facilitate to you a number that you must note down in the
referral of request of services that the doctor gave you, and later, hand it over at the moment
to realize the medical act.
In some services, like the admission, it is necessary that, at the moment of realization, you
attach several referrals, for example, one for the doctor and another for the anesthetist.
For this reason, in the surgical processes and in any tests or treatments, the telephone
authorization is not possible.
