JANCOA’s 2016 Company Picnic at the Cincinnati Zoo was a HUGE success! THANK
YOU to all the employees who joined in the fun. We had over 900 JANCOA employees
and their family members attend, which made this year’s picnic our largest picnic
ever! JANCOA gave away more than 25 gift baskets, 2 TVs, vacation time, and a huge
recruiting check! We had beautiful weather and delicious food. Our big group picture
will be displayed in the JANCOA lobby soon!

Important Reminder!
If you find ANYTHING valuable while cleaning it is very important that you give it to
your supervisor or manager as soon as you find it. Also, please remember that there
are cameras everywhere in our buildings so make sure you are making good choices. If
you find an electronic device that doesn’t belong to you, it is very likely the device has
tracking on it and the owner will locate exactly where the device is. If you find a cell
phone or any other item, contact the JANCOA office or your supervisor immediately so
JANCOA can let the property manager know.
IMPORTANT – Have you turned in your vacation request form?
A benefit of being a JANCOA employee is that JANCOA provides paid vacation time for
their employees. If you have been working with JANCOA for more than 1 year, then you
get one week paid vacation. If you have been working with JANCOA for more than 5
years, then you get two weeks paid vacation. This benefit is for full time & part time
employees. It is very important that you complete a 2016 vacation request form if you
have vacation time available. Once the employee completes the vacation request form
then the employee must give the form to their manager. Their manager will then work
with the office to confirm if the date(s) the employee requested are available. When
evaluating whether or not to approve a request for vacation JANCOA management will
consider coverage, availability, seniority, and the timing of the request. Once the
employee’s vacation date(s) have been confirmed then an approved copy of the
vacation request form will be sent to the employee’s home address and their manager
will verbally let employee know. JANCOA encourages all employees to keep their
approved vacation request form for their records. Each employee should know if their
vacation requests have been approved within 2 weeks of the date the employee gave
the form to their manager.
Vacation Request Rules:
1. Request should be made 30 days prior to dates requested (or if available and
approved.)
2. USE IT OR LOSE IT! Zero buyback for vacation in 2016! If you have vacation
time left in 2016 you will lose it.
3. Employees can only request vacation days for a maximum of 2 holidays
4. Employees must give their request forms to their managers.

Demetrius Dukes has been part of the JANCOA family
for a few months. He is a very hard working employee
and does whatever is necessary to get things done. A
customer recently emailed us to let us know that
Demetri helped without being asked to do so, they
were very impressed! JANCOA is lucky to have
Demetrius as part of our team!

ha trabajado por más de 5 anos usted obtiene 2 semanas. Este es un beneficio para
personal de tiempo completo y medio tiempo. Es muy importante que usted
complete su solicitud de vacación si tiene tiempo de vacación disponible. Luego de
completar el formato debe entregárselo a su supervisor o gerente. Su gerente
trabajara con la oficina para confirmar si las fechas que el empleado solicito están
disponibles. Cuando se evalue se tomara en cuenta, disponibilidad, antigüedad, y el
tiempo en que fue solicitado. Una vez que la fecha sea confirmada y aprobada, una
copia de esta forma será enviada a la dirección de su casa y el gerente le informara
verbalmente al empleado. JANCOA anima a todos los empleados a que guarden sus
solicitudes para su control personal. Cada empleado debe saber si su vacación ha sido
aprobada en dos semanas desde que el empleado entrego su solicitud a su gerente.
