
Cada Voto Cuenta is LatinoJustice PRLDEF’s national nonpartisan voter protection
initiative, affiliated with the National Election Protection Coalition, the nation’s largest nonpartisan voter protection coalition and helps all voters across the country, particularly those
traditionally disenfranchised.

LatinoJustice PRLDEF, the National Election Protection Coalition, NALEO VE-Y-VOTA,
GALEO and their coalition partners seek volunteer attorneys, law students, legal professionals
and grassroots volunteers for the Cada Voto Cuenta Bilingual Election Monitoring Program
between October 22 - November 8.
What do Cada Voto Cuenta Volunteers do?

Bilingual Cada Voto Cuenta volunteers answer questions, monitor polling locations, and identify
issues confronting voters, including language access and disability access. All volunteers must
attend a 2 hour webinar or live training session (CLE credit may be available for Cada Voto
Cuenta Training on State and Federal Election Laws) and are asked to sign up for at least one 4
hour shift in one of the following locations: GA, FLA, PA, NY, NC (but are encouraged to
volunteer for more than one shift on election day or for early voting, where applicable).
All training materials are provided, and no prior experience with election law is required.

Cada Voto Cuenta es una iniciativa de LatinoJustice PRLDEF no partidista y nacional de la
protección de los votantes Latinos que está afiliada con la Coalición Nacional de “Election
Protection,” una coalición no partidista y nacional que ayuda a todos los votantes en todo el
país, en particular los votantes tradicionalmente excluidos.


LatinoJustice PRLDEF, La Coalición Nacional de “Election Protection”, NALEO VE-YVOTA, GALEO y sus socios de la Coalición estamos buscando por abogados voluntarios,
estudiantes de derecho, profesionales legales y voluntarios comunitarios para el Programa
Bilingüe de Monitoreo de las Elecciónes, Cada Voto Cuenta, entre el 22 de octubre y 8 de
noviembre.
¿Qué hacen los voluntarios de Cada Voto Cuenta?

Cada voluntario bilingüe de Cada Voto Cuenta va responder a las preguntas, observar los
lugares de votación, e identificar los problemas que afectan a los votantes, incluyendo el acceso
al idioma y el acceso para discapacitados. Todos los voluntarios deben asistir a un seminario de
2 horas o sesión de entrenamiento en vivo (crédito de CLE puede estar disponible) y se les pide
que registrarse para obtener al menos un turno de 4 horas en uno de cuatro estados: Georgia,
Florida, Pensilvania, Nueva York, o Carolina del Norte (pero se les anima a voluntarios en más
de un turno en la jornada electoral o de votación anticipada).

Se proporcionan todos los materiales de capacitación, y no se requiere experiencia previa con la
ley de derecho al voto o la ley electoral.
