Offset projects
CO2 emissions are offset by funding special projects around the world. These can be in:
Renewable energy – replacing non-renewable fossil fuels
Energy efficiency – reducing the amount of fuel needed
Forest restoration – absorbing CO2 from the atmosphere as trees grow
