MEFFPOWER REGISTRA 3,5 TWh, UN CRECIMIENTO DEL 15% RESPECTO AL MISMO MES
DEL AÑO ANTERIOR. RÉCORD DE POSICIÓN ABIERTA CON 10,4 TWh A FIN DE ENERO.
Crecimiento de 57% en los tres últimos meses el sobre el mismo periodo del año anterior






MEFFPower ha registrado en enero 3,5 TWh, con un crecimiento del 15% respecto al mismo
mes del año anterior. Son ya 3 meses consecutivos de incremento de volumen con respecto al
mismo periodo del año anterior.
La posición abierta a finales de enero ha sido 10,4 TWh, récord histórico de MEFFPower, un
122% más que el mismo mes del año anterior y 23% superior al cierre de 2015.
Destaca el volumen de posición abierta en trimestrales, donde ha habido récord (5,8 TWh).
Enero ha sido también el quinto mes consecutivo con crecimiento en la posición abierta.
En enero también se han adherido a MEFFPower 5 nuevas entidades.
El número total de operaciones registradas alcanzó 384, un 31% superior al mes anterior, con
una media de 19 operaciones diarias, destacando el número récord de operaciones sobre el
trimestre (115).

PREVIOUS YEAR. A NEW RECORD IN OPEN INTEREST IS ACHIEVED WITH 10,4TWh AT THE
END OF JANUARY

MEFFPower registered 3.5 TWh in January, up by 15% compared with the same month the
previous year. For 3 months in a row there has been an increase in volumes with respect to
the same period the previous year.
Open interest at the end of January reached 10.4 TWh, historical record at MEFFPower, up
by 122% in comparison with the same month the previous year and 23% higher than at the
year end of 2015.
Particularly noteworthy is the volume in open interest for Quarters, where there has been a
record of 5.8TWh. This past month has also been the fifth consecutive month with steady
growth in open interest.
In January 5 new entities have adhered to MEFFPower.
Total number of trades registered was 384, up by 31% over the previous month, and an
average of 19 trades a day. Special mention to record number relating to Quarter contracts
(115).
