La Biennale di Venezia
El hábitat-almacén está emplazado en un entorno rural
dedicado a la ganadería y al cultivo de hortalizas y árboles
frutales. La topografía del lugar define la posición y
la geometría (básica) del proyecto. La cubierta a un
agua, reproduce la pendiente del terreno y naturaliza la
integración en el entorno. La construcción limita al norte
con un bosque de pinos y al sur con bancales preexistentes
de olivos, almendros, higueras y albaricoques. La proximidad
de la granja dedicada a la cunicultura fija el lenguaje
arquitectónico que define los materiales del hábitat. El
programa consiste en un espacio polivalente: estar/cocina/
dormitorio/almacén, un baño y un pequeño dormitorio.
Exteriormente se prevé un pequeño espacio de almacén
exterior (Oeste), y una zona pavimentada orientada a Sur.

The habitat-storehouse is located in a rural area dedicated
to livestock, vegetable gardens and fruit trees. The
topography of the site defines the project’s position
and basic geometry. The shed roof follows the slope of
the ground, which naturalizes its integration into the
surrounding site. The construction is placed between a
pine forest to the north and existing terraces with olive,
almond, fig and apricot trees to the south. The example of
the nearby rabbit farm defines the habitat’s architectural
language. The program consists of a multipurpose space:
living/kitchen/bedroom/storeroom, a bathroom and a small
bedroom. On the exterior there is a small outdoor storage
space (west) and a paved area facing south.
