El Mural: ¿Qué pintamos?
1. Decide on a story you want to tell: the revolution itself OR take it to the next level and
express the evolution of a political and/or controversial topic (must be teacher
approved!) you feel passionate about from Latin America, North America, Venezuela,
Columbia etc… Ideas include but are in no way limited to: La historia de la
Argentina, la evolución de la tecnología, los carteles narcotraficantes/crimen
organizado en México, la época de Hugo Chávez en Venezuela, los conflictos
extranjeros, el medioambiente etc…
2. Decide HOW you will convey the styles and techniques of either one muralist OR
combine styles and techniques of ALL three of the muralists studied! Look through
your notes, books, Power Points and be prepared to identify and discuss how and why
you incorporate these in your final presentation.
Presentación del Mural ¿Cómo y por qué pintamos lo que hemos pintado?
Explica el mural que pintaron en detalle incluido:

¿Qué es la historia del conflicto? ¿Personas y conceptos principales? (explica en 3-4
frases).

¿Qué clases de colores usaron y por qué?(3-4 frases)
5)
¿Qué técnicos y/o estilos utilizaron para representar los muralistas que estudiamos?
¡Sean específicos! (3-4 frases)
*** You MUST draw connections and parallels between how the muralists we studied,
portrayed and communicated their political views and the concepts of the Mexican
Revolution and how YOUR group has presented YOUR topic within YOUR
mural!***
You are expected to use your mural to guide your presentation (ie physically point to items,
techniques and styles AS YOU SPEAK ABOUT THEM. BE PREPARED! DO NOT
JUST PLAN TO READ A PARAGRAPH!!! NO NOTES!!!!!
Be sure to use ADVANCED GRAMMATICAL STRUCTURES whenever possible to
earn an A! (ie…Si Diego Rivera hubiera pintado esto, habría usado las personas indígenas…
pero NOSOTROS hemos utilizado…) You may divide the information as you wish, however
everyone must have equal amounts of information.
