I like to bake a CAKE!
Ingredients:
250 g butter
250 g sugar
1 big spoon vanilla sugar
4 eggs
300 g flour
2 small spoons baking powder
5 big spoons milk
30 g “Colacao” or “Nesquick”
1. Start the oven: (180C) and grease the cake tin with butter (or use a silicone cake tin).
2. Cut the butter into pieces ….
3… and stir it with a mixer.
4. Add the sugar, the vanilla sugar and the eggs and stir them.
5. Add the flour, the baking powder and the milk and stir them.
6. Fill the cake tin with 2/3 of the cake mix.
7. Mix the rest with the colacao/nesquick.
8. Fill the cake tin with the chocolate-cake mix and stir it.
9. Put the cake into the oven and bake it for 1 1/2h!!

To stir – batir
To fill – llenar
To grease – untar
(To grease with butter – untar con mantequilla)
To add – añadir
(I add the butter – añado la mantequilla)
To save – guardar, apartar
(I save money = ahorro dinero; I save some cake mix = guardo algo de la masa)
Mixer – batidora
Small pieces – pequeños trozos
Butter – mantequilla
Eggs – huevos
Flour – harina
Milk - leche
Sugar - azúcar
Vanilla sugar – azúcar de vainillina
Baking poder – levadura en polvo
Cake tin – Molde de pastel (Silicone – silicona, Silicone cake tin =_________)
Cake mix – masa de pastel
Spoon – cuchara
(Big spoon =___________ Small spoon = _____________)
Knife – cuchillo
Fork – tenedor
