The HLPE is pleased to invite you to attend the official launch of its newly released reports #3 on climate
change and food security, and #4 on social protection and food security.
These reports, requested by the Committee on World Food Security (CFS) will feed policy debates to be
held during its 39th session.

The event will be chaired and introduced by the CFS chair, HE Amd Yaya Adisan Olaniran,
HLPE presenters include:
Ms Maryam Rahmanian, vice-president of the HLPE Steering Committee,
Introductory remarks and insight on HLPE working methods.
Prof. Huajun Tang, HLPE Steering Committee member,
Presentation of the report on food security and climate change.
Prof. Stephen Devereux, HLPE Project Team leader for the report on social protection for food security.
Following each report presentation there will be a discussion with a question and answer session.

Le HLPE est heureux de vous inviter à assister à la présentation officielle de ses rapports récemment
publiés n ° 3 sur le changement climatique et la sécurité alimentaire, et n ° 4 sur la protection sociale et la
sécurité alimentaire.
Ces rapports, commandés par le Comité sur la sécurité alimentaire mondiale (CSA) vont nourrir les
débats politiques au sein du CSA à sa 39e session.

Cet événement sera présidé et introduit par le président du CSA, SE Amd Yaya Adisan Olaniran.
Les présentateurs pour le panel d’Experts de Haut Niveau seront les suivants:
Mme Maryam Rahmanian, vice-présidente du Comité directeur du HLPE, fournira des observations
liminaires et un aperçu sur les méthodes de travail du HLPE.
Le Professeur Huajun Tang, membre du Comité directeur du HLPE, présentera le rapport sur la sécurité
alimentaire et le changement climatique.
Le Professeur Stephen Devereux, chef de l’équipe projet du HLPE présentera le rapport sur la protection
sociale pour la sécurité alimentaire.
La présentation de chaque du rapport sera suivie d’une discussion avec une séance de questions réponses.
