ews Newsletter of the TRANSNATUR group No. 24 July 2014 EDITORIAL BELIEVING IN THE FUTURE !!! 2013 was a year of transformation and changes for Transnatur Vigo when we saw the need for a new internal structure. A structure that would enable us to face the challenges lying ahead. Building on an existing solid and cohesive team, we decided to boost the sea/air departments by recruiting new members of staff that can contribute years of experience so that we can offer a service that can fulfill the logistics demands of clients and agents alike. In the present market with an increasing traffic amongst third countries, we set up a 2000m2 VAT-Free warehouse. This will help us increase the transport volume as we can now offer the possibility to carry out import operations where our clients can defer the VAT payment, which results in financial reductions as well as an opportunity for re-exporting goods without having to first nationalise them. We are in a position where we can offer a complete transport and logistics outsourcing management, where payments are based on services rendered only. This is a worthwhile solution to ensure more efficient logistics operations. The world is experiencing a global economy where clients need the type of solutions that Transnatur can provide by connecting international road, sea and air transport, logistics and Customs services. Gone are the days where most companies were submerged in huge expenses which eventually ended up weighing on their balances negatively once the sales volume decreased. Given the bad experiences of the past, more and more companies are now looking for solutions that will allow them to fit into the different economic cycles and to be better prepared to face them. Entrusting their logistics to a specialist like Transnatur is a good solution. Thanks to this positive attitude at this point, where others are only focused on cost reductions and deferring all investment to the future, this has turned out to be the correct decision and it has started to show benefits and we are convinced that it will consolidate Transnatur as one of the key players in the transport and logistics field in Galicia in the next few years …… Gonzalo Lorenzo (Mr) Branch Manager of Transnatur Vigo OUTSTANDING NEWS: A friendly meal between Mr Werner Eggart Jr. and the president of our Company, Mr José Pagés, held last March.
