a guide to our firm Who we are Our Firm was formed by the merger of John Aguilar & Asociados, Ltd., and Bufete Castillo Love, two firms with a long history of serving major national and international businesses in complex commercial transactions and dispute resolution in Central America. Today the firm is a totally integrated Central American law firm with offices in Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, and Panama. We also manage our clients' legal affairs with the same high levels of legal excellence and service quality throughout the Caribbean, through our structured affiliations with top quality law firms in all the major civil law and common law jurisdictions in the region. Our roots Aguilar Castillo Love is the product of business and legal traditions that reach back for more than three centuries in Central America. At the time of independence, almost 200 years ago, members of the Aguilar family had already achieved prominence in the practice of law in Costa Rica and El Salvador. The Castillo Love family has practiced law and been business leaders in Guatemala for more than 120 years. What we do Aguilar Castillo Love is a single firm, with offices across Central America, that offers a single point of contact for anyone wishing to conduct business in Central America, Panama and the Caribbean. As the first integrated law firm in region, we have accumulated a wealth of international experience.
