Where as the Town ofRiverdale Park is asister city with the municipality of
Ipala, Chiquimula of Guatemala and
Where as in the spirit of sharing, through exchanges of one kind or another— with
the hopes of fostering and developing stronger relations, and
Where as the Town ofRiverdale Park engages in a yearly celebration
commemorating its founding and existence, now
Be It Resolved the Council and Mayor on behalf of The Town Of Riverdale Park
extends an invitation to Grupo de Danza Folclorica y Modema de Ipala and Grupo
de Marimba de Alumnas del Colegio Proyeccion from the municipality ofIpala,
Chiquimula of Guatemala to join and participate with the Town and its citizens at
the 2009 Riverdale Park Day.

Considerando que la Ciudad de Riverdale Park es una ciudad hetmana con la
municipalidad de Ipala, Chiquimula de Guatemala y
Considerando que con un espiritu de compartir, sea por intercambios de una
manera uotra ~con el deseo de crear ydesan'ollar fuertes relaciones, y
Considerando que la Ciudad de Riverdale Park toma parte en una celebraci6n
anual conmemorando su fundacion y existencia, ahora
Que quede resuelto que los Consejeros yel Alcaide en nombre del Pueblo de
Riverdale Park exliende la invitaci6n a! grupo de danza Folclorica yModema de
Ipala yel Grupo de Marimba de las alumnas del Colegio Proyecci6n de la
Municipalidad de Ipala, Chiquimula de Guatemala para acompafiamos y
participar con el pueblo y sus residentes en el Dia de Riverdale Park del 2009.
