DEFINING THE FUTURE OF
OUR COMMUNITY
The Mayor has announced that East Harlem is one of the
communities that is set to be rezoned to facilitate building
more affordable housing. As the City considers these zoning
changes, Speaker Melissa Mark-Viverito has formed a
Neighborhood Study Steering Committee, which will ensure
that a broader set of neighborhood needs is being considered
and that the voice of the community informs the proposal.
Come learn about the Neighborhood Study and ways that
residents and other stakeholders can be involved in it!

El Alcalde de Nueva York ha anunciado que East Harlem (El Barrio) es
una de las comunidades que va a clasificar para ser rezonificada
facilitando asi la construcción de mas viviendas asequibles. Mientras
la Ciudad considera cambios en la zonificación, Speaker Melissa
Mark-Viverito ha formado un Comité Directivo para el estudio del
vecindario de El Barrio, este va a asegurar que un conjunto más
amplio de necesidades del vecindario estén consideradas y que la voz
de la comunidad este reflejada en la propuesta final. Venga y aprenda
sobre el Estudio del Vecindario que se esta realizando y como los
residentes e interesados pueden involucrarse en este estudio!
