THE SACRED TRIDUUM
Holy Thursday— The sacred three days begins with the evening mass of the Lord’s supper at 7pm. We
contemplate the gift of the Eucharist and the washing of the feet. The solemn mass concludes with a Eucharistic
procession and adoration until midnight. This is the day to bring your RICE BOWLS. The collection today is for
the poor.
Good Friday— The church remembers the Passion of the Lord. The liturgy (5:00pm English and 6:30pm Spanish)
includes the reading of the passion from John’s Gospel, Solemn Intercessions, The Veneration of the Cross, and the
reception of Holy Communion. The collection today supports Christians in the Holy Land. Stations of the Cross are
offered at noon and at 8pm.
Easter Vigil— Saturday night, at 8pm is the richest and most important liturgy of the entire year. FIRE and LIGHT,
WORD and WATER, the SACRAMENTS OF INITIATION. This is the night of the RESURRECTION. Come
and
experience this night. (It is lengthy at 2+ hours, more for adults and mature youth than for children.

Stations of the Cross For Kids / Viacrucis Para ninos
On Good Friday there will be Stations of the Cross for kids at 3:00pm, all children that are in
religious education class must attend but any other child that would like to come is more than
welcome!
El Viernes Santo habrá el Viacrucis para niños a las 3:00PM, todos los niños que están en el
catecismo deben de asistir. Y todos los niños que gusten venir están invitados! Los esperamos.

Marriage Prep Classes In Spanish
Platicas Pre Matrimoniales En Español
Starting Saturday, April 2nd, 2016 there will be
pre-matrimonial classes for couples who are in the
process of getting married or are thinking about
getting married. Classes will be from
6:30pm-8:00pm. To register for these up- coming
classes or for more information please call the
parish office.

There is a faith sharing group for men at St. Luke. They
meet every 2nd and 4th Monday of the month at 7pm in

We are excited to share the results of ”Set Sail – Anchored in Christ”!
This year, the auction grossed $141,000! This is approximately $20,000 more than last year! After
expenses, we are looing at a net total of $120,000!
Thank you all for helping make this a successful event.
A special thank you to all the chairpersons for taking on each of your positions and executing them
so well. There is a lot of behind the scenes work that gets done to put on this event; your hard
