SOCIAL PROGRAMME
Beach Barbecue
The unique Stafford House social
programme is designed directly in
response to students’ wishes and
requests. Wherever the students want
to go or whatever they want to do,
we do our best to make it happen.
All of our activity leaders are chosen
because they live locally and are
passionate about showing off their city
and all it has to offer. This allows
students to gain a deeper insight and
understanding of the city they live in.
Ancient pubs tucked away deep in the
city, quirky markets nestled in the
midst of local communities or festivals,
museums and events that could be left
off the student to-do list; we try to put
the Stafford House student in touch
with the city they hope to discover.

We design a lot of activities that aim to
encourage our students on trips to
extend their knowledge of English
beyond the classroom. This could take
the form of a local culture and history
quiz, language that can be used in an
art gallery or an activity looking at
architecture vocabulary.
In short, our social programme aims to
bridge the gap between the classroom
and the world outside. Our students
can enjoy a wide choice of activities,
