¿Podríais explicarme cómo aplicar “despite” e “in spite of” en una oración? También me gustaría saber si la traducción de “he had
comming” es “él se la buscó”.

La traducción de HE HAD it COMING (no comming) es como dices "el se la buscó" o "se veía venir".
-In spite of/ Despite se traducen como "a pesar de" en español. Pueden usarse indistintamente y suelen ir seguidos bien de un nombre
(Despite/ In spite of her stomachache, she danced all night) o bien de un verbo en -ing (Despite/In spite of feeling ill, she went to
work)
Más ejemplos:
Despite/In spite of the fact that he was very young, he looked really old.
Despite/in spite of not winning the game, they were all very happy.
In spite of/despite studying all week, she failed the exam.
Ahora te toca a ti, traduce al inglés las siguientes frases:
A pesar de todo el ruido, los niños durmieron bien
Salimos a navegar, a pesar del mal tiempo.
