Summer Assignment Spani sh IV Honors 2016 Señora Calvo Due date: Monday, September 12th, 2016 The summer assignment listed below is designed to maintain and to improve your skills in Spanish in order to prepare you for Spanish IV Honors this coming fall. Completion of the assignment will directly impact your success in the course as this is a task that will frequently be required of you throughout the course of the year. Please read and print 5 articles from any of the following Spanish­speaking online news sources. You may choose anything that sparks your interest. If you do not have access to the internet, you can use magazines found at your local pharmacy like “People en Español”, “Hola”, etc. After reading each article, please complete the handout provided for each article. Try to spread out your assignment throughout the entire summer in order to get as much practice as possible. You should know how to form each tense as well as when to use each one. A lot of these grammar concepts tend to emerge quite frequently throughout the year.
