Final Phase of the State Route 76 East Segment Project Begins this Fall
Additional improvements are coming to the State Route 76 (SR 76) corridor between South Mission Road
and the SR 76 / Interstate 15 (I-15) interchange. Previously, the SR 76 / I-15 interchange was upgraded
by improving the ramps and widening the overpass bridge. Now, the final phase is gearing up to start
construction this fall with completion anticipated in 2017.

About the Project
The SR 76 East Segment Project will convert a 5.2-mile stretch of SR 76 between South Mission Road and
the I-15 interchange to a four-lane highway. Improvements include:
• Establishing native plants in landscaped areas to
create, preserve, and restore natural habitat; and
