2. Mencionar Acreditaciones Nacionales e Internacionales, Acuerdos de Cooperación Académica
Internacional.
The first business school in Australia to meet the high standards of the world’s most influential accrediting bodies – the
US-based AACSB International and Europe’s EQUIS accreditation.
EQUIS, the quality assurance body of the European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD), awarded full
accreditation to UQ Business School in June 2004. Prior to the EQUIS award, UQ Business School was the first
comprehensive business school in Australia to be awarded full AACSB International accreditation in April 2003. In
June 2009, UQ Business School earned EQUIS re-accreditation for a further five years. The EFMD has awarded
EQUIS accreditation to just 127 business schools worldwide.
AACSB International accreditation originated in the North American Ivy League business schools and has expanded to
cover the Asia Pacific. With the granting of the European EQUIS accreditation, UQ Business School is now recognised
globally as a premier business school, whose graduates are recognised for the quality of their degree worldwide.

V PUBLICACIONES ACADEMICAS Y OTRAS (Títulos y periodicidad)
The UQ Business School has developed a set of research performance guidelines after consultation with academic staff,
relevant committees and a series of focus groups. The guidelines reflect a minimal level of research performance and
should not be seen as constituting targets that in anyway guarantee performance levels. These guidelines are not tied to
any personnel decisions concerning confirmation of appointment, tenure or promotion. Such decisions need to be
considered within the context of individual and disciplinary circumstances. That is, confirmation of appointments and
promotion will not be made on the basis of the minimum research guidelines. Guidelines are as follows:
a. Level E faculty (Professor) – over a two year period at least
i. One tier 1 or 2 publication; and
ii. One discovery or linkage ARC grant submitted
iii. One tier 3 or above peer-reviewed paper published with a more junior colleague
b. Level D faculty (Associate Professor) – over a two year period at least
i. One tier 2 journal publication; and
ii. One tier 3 journal publication
c. Level C (Senior Lecturer) – over a two year period at least
i. Two tier 3 journal publications
d. Level B (Lecturer greater than 3 years post PhD) – over a two year period at least
i. One tier 3 journal publication; and
ii. One tier 4 peer-reviewed journal publication – over a three year period at least
e. Level B (Lecturer post PhD) –
i. One tier 3 or better journal publication; and
ii. At least 2 journal articles to be under review.
f. Level B (Lecturer with PhD) –
i. Expected to be working on completing their PhD, no peer-reviewed papers are expected
during this time.
