The Begining of F1
The first event was planned like a short trial in Paris, it was organized by La Velocipe in 1887. In this race
only taken part one competition so it didn´t celebrate.
But the fist true organized event was a Reliability Trial from Paris to Rouen in 1894. This races length was
126Km. It was organized by a newspaper, le Petite Journal. The winner was Dion driving a tractor made by
himself. The jury descalified because it wasn´t a car. The winner average speed was 17Km/h.
In 1895 was celebrate a true race, from Paris to Bordeaux and back, it was won by Emile Levassor. He drove
a Panhard−Levarssor with engine with 2 cilindre and 4hp. The first clasified drove for 48 hours and 48
minutes. But he was descalified because the car only had two seats of the required 4. An interesting apearance
in this race was the peugeot of Andre Michelin wich used pneumatice tires instead of the usual iron or solid
rubber.
The following years were exilarating fight for increase the speed. In 1901 the car races would changed with
the introduction of the 35hp mercedes. It was the first racing−car. This car had used a four cilindre engine

The World Championship

But Michael's future was not still clear. Their childhood was normal, as a mischievous boy anyone, until one
day he had to decide: to participate in a final of judo or to compete with their kart in a career. Schumacher
decided to participate in the final of judo but I was third, and he realized that their decision had not been the
correct one.
But then non wise Michael that the motoring could be something more than a simple hobby. The Formula One

His fifteen years in karts he allowed him to acquire a great experience to the steering wheel. When Michael

Their first car of one square was a Formula Koening. Hoecker acquired one of these car, it mounted it and he
contacted with Schumacher through the telephone to invite him to drive. Michael didn't hesitate a moment
and, of this way, he participated of this type of careers formula, ideals for who had abandoned the karts. His
first career: in Hockenheim; their result: winner. That triumphs, nothing easy, it demonstrated the enormous
quality of a promising pilot that competed with total naturalness. But that victory got it after the
disqualification of Koester. But that didn't mean that Schumacher got a victory "given". That same year it won
all the careers of the season (10) except of the Zolder where finished second after having problems in his
formula.
Later more competitions and modalities would arrive. Schumacher a good hole was already making in the

Spa−Francorchamos was the first circuit in which Michael participated in an official day of Formula One. It

sport career in Formula One.
In Brazil, Ayrton and Schumacher they had their first close contact. Everything begin when in the exit

I was quicker than him. He didn't wait for me this of the champion triple." said Michael. But Schumacher

1994 were one of Michael's big years, although is true that was quite sad. The tragedies happened in this year
darkened little the first Championship gotten by Schumacher a little, after bereavements, crashes,
disqualifications and frights. Without a doubt, this year one of the most important bereavements in the history
of the Formula One: the bereavement Schumacher−Hill.
Without a doubt the most outstanding fact in this year was the collision in Adelaida. The polemic, 6 years
later, it continues open. There is who say that Hill rushed too soon, and others that Schumacher had closed
shamelessly. That afternoon in Adelaida everything seemed was in favor of the British Damon Hill.
Schumacher you came out when he went in head, he scrashed against the protection wall and able to return to
hint. But them English it had already won him the interior. Michael´s car, with a clearly damaged , closed the
door to Hill, and he left discharged on two wheels, impacting later against the tires. Hill had been to continue

difficult year for the Formula One.
In 1995 it get a World Title again, again with a one Benetton, but this time with the motor Renault. In this
year also had have more impressive accident, when in Imola, after refueling, you left the very quick hint and it
collided laterally against the protection of tires. It didn't suffer any damage.
But the things went well for Michael. Soon after was proclaimed champion of the world by second
consecutive year. Also, he announced their signing for the mythical motor−racing team Ferrari for 1996. It
was an entire explosion. Schumacher surely knew that it would not be able get the World cup in some years
again, although he didn't maybe think that they will pass five.
In 1996 he could not make great thing. Ferrari was not in conditions of offering a good car in conditions for a
real bi−champion of the world. The image of the two red racing cars breaking almost at the same time in
several big prizes was pathetic. This year the bereavement Hill−Schumacher ended and it was centered in the
fight among the two partners of team of Williams.
In the '97 the thing was not better. At the season end Schumacher played a crash with another pilot again, (this
time Villeneuve), in the circuit of Jerez, in the Great Prize of Europe. The case is that the Title didn't return
neither to Ferrari neither the hands of Schumacher. In the '98 neither got , and the World cup close with a
certainly sad image for Schumacher: the blowout of the back wheel of his Ferrari when one was playing
overcome of champion. The Title escaped again.
1999 could be the year of their third championship, but an unfortunate accident in Silverstone caused him
serious damages in his leg and he had leave the World cup during several careers. A new lost World cup.
This year (2000), the season began with a clear superiority of the red cars, with Schumacher always in head,
winning a career after other, while the McLaren, their new rivals, didn't stop of accumulating abandonments.
But to season half as much Mika as Coulthard reacted and they clipped distances in the Championship, taking
advantage of the errors and accident of Schumacher in the exits. Two accidents in the first curve in Austria
and Germany left him without punctuating and, in Spa, he saw how Mika Häkkinen surpassed him with such
a crushing easiness as impressive.
A fantastic double in Monza and a new victory in United States, they returned the hope ferrari and to the own
Schumacher. The tears jumped of their eyes when they reminded him that the number of victories of Ayrton
had tied Senna. It was one of those images that should remain recorded so much in all the tapes of video of all
the fans, like in the memory and History of the Formula One. In those brief second Michael it demonstrated
