Tyrone Baker RELS 101 D Our presentation on Zechariah was a challenging one but was fulfilling in a sense! Our group started with 5 but because of miscommunications and other factors, we had to split at the last minute so Kristen and I did a duo project! She and I split the work up to focus on our strengths to try and make the best presentation we could! I was in charge of gathering the storyline, symbolism and other facts hidden within the time period but mainly identifying the visions and figuring out the symbolism and what they meant! I had to go over the story, write down the basic overview, then reread the story and watch for interesting things that would stick out or would usually go unnoticed! Kristen designed the layout and added the visuals to the slides and after I put my info on, she worked to summarize the themes hidden within all the visions God gave Zechariah! Kristen assigned herself the introduction to the prophet of Zechariah. She also added background info about what’s known about his family and what time period this was! I assigned myself the story aspect of it by dissecting the visions and what they entailed and what they meant to the Israelites then and what they mean now! Since our group originally had some miscommunication it split late in the project so Kristen and I worked to cover the themes that summarized the entire work which she volunteered to present! I added in a timeline late since that was an area that was now open and spoke about it to the best of my ability! Kristen and I tried our very best to not only complete the presentation in a timely manner but present intimate knowledge of our studying and research into the optimistic prophet of the Old Testament!
