Fixing Remote Computing (Citrix) issue on Mac Computers
Issue ‐ After logging in to GC Remote Computing (Citrix), and attempting to open any application from
the list, you get an error message below:
To fix this issue, please open Safari, and copy and paste the link below in the address bar (please note
that using any other browser will not successfully download the certificate needed):
http://cacerts.digicert.com/DigiCertSHA2HighAssuranceServerCA.crt
Find the downloaded certificate ‐ DigiCert SHA2 ‐ in downloads (Step 1) and double‐click on it (Step 2):
Keychain Access will open and offer you to add the certificate to your keychain. Click Add:
Quit the Keychain Access, go back to Safari, remote computing. At this point you will be able to open any
application from the list.
After the certificate is downloaded, you will be able to open Remote Computing in other browsers as
well. Please note that on the newest version of Firefox you might be asked to enable Citrix plugin in.
Click on a little icon on the left (Step 1), then click on Allow and Remember (Step 2):
