DESCRIPCIÓN:
En tiempos recientes, en Colombia, desafortunadamente se ha descuidado la
enseñanza de la música en escuelas y colegios, ya que los gobernantes de turno han
considerado inoficiosa y costosa esta labor. Solo algunas pocas instituciones de
carácter privado, que cuentan con presupuesto, han tenido el privilegio de hacerlo. Por
esto es tiempo de cambiar tan errado concepto de la música y empezar a enseñarla
correctamente. La educación musical debe ser para TODOS, en el caso de éste
proyecto, está enfocada especialmente para los estratos menos favorecidos, ya que
por ser uno de los sectores más humildes y azotados por la violencia, igualmente
merecen tener oportunidades para desarrollarse artística e intelectualmente y, así,
evitar que personas talentosas y capaces se hundan tentados por la delincuencia y
otras conductas antisociales. Este proceso debe poseer buenas herramientas teóricas
y prácticas que permitan lograr óptimos resultados.
Entre las necesidades de la comunidad Bumanguesa, en las escuelas de las zonas
menos favorecidas existe la necesidad de sensibilizar tanto a los niños como a la
comunidad en general. Desde dicho ángulo la Facultad de Ciencias Humanas de la
U.I.S, en asocio con la Alcaldía de Bucaramanga, han establecido un convenio que
consiste en la creación de diez bandas musicales infantiles en un proyecto que se
extenderá por cinco (5) años incluyendo diez (10) nuevas bandas por año en
diferentes escuelas públicas del área metropolitana hasta llegar a un total de
cincuenta bandas, cada una con once (11) instrumentos.
Dicho proyecto se desarrollará con estudiantes de la carrera de Licenciatura en
Música, de la Facultad de Ciencias Humanas, como proyecto de grado para obtener el
título de “Licenciado en Música“, bajo la tutoría de los profesores de la misma
institución, la dirección general de la Doctora Ana Cecilia Ojeda, decana de la facultad
de Ciencias Humanas.

In recent times, in Colombia, unfortunately the music's teaching has been neglected in
schools and schools, since the shift rulers have considered inofficious and expensive
this work. Only some few private institutions that they have budget, have had the
privilege of making it. For this reason it is time to change so missed concept of the
music and to begin to teach it correctly. The education musical must be for ALL, in the
case of this project, it is focused especially for the less favored status, since to be one
of the humblest sectors and whipped by the violence, equally they deserve to have
opportunities to be developed artistic and intellectually and, this way, to avoid talented
and capable people to collapse tempted by the delinquency and other antisocial
behaviors. This process should possess good theoretical and practical tools that allow
to achieve good results.
Among the necessities of the Bucaramangan community, in the schools of the less
favored areas the necessity exists of sensitizing as much to the children as to the
community in general. The Faculty of Human Sciences of the U.I.S, in associate with
the Governorship of Bucaramanga, an agreement that consists on the creation of ten
infantile musical bands in a project have established that it will extend for five (5) years
including ten (10) new bands by year in different public schools of the metropolitan
area until arriving to a total of fifty bands, each one with eleven (11) instruments.
This project will be developed with students of the career of Degree in Music, of the
Faculty of Human Sciences, like grade project to obtain the title of “Graduate in Music“,
under the tutorship of the professors of the same institution, the general management
of Dr. Ana Cecilia Ojeda, Dean of the Faculty of Human Sciences.
