GRAMAR ACTIVITY - SUPERIORITY COMPARATIVE Age: 12 years old. Level: Low PRESENTATION AIM: To be able to compare things, persons etc. MATERIAL: Notebook Teacher will present the adjective and pictures to compare the quality given by the adjective. Adjectives to be used for the teacher presentation: tall - fat - expensive - elegant. This poster will be hung and presented on the wall for all the students to see. Teacher will tell the pattern to the students: • -er + than. For one or two syllables. Example 1: The father is taller than the child. Example 2: The man on the right is fatter than the one on the left. • More + adj/adv/noun + than. For more than 2 syllables. Example 1: This ring is more expensive than the other. Example 2: The model is more elegant than the girl. CONTROLLED PRACTICE AIM: To practice superlative comparative. SKILL: Writing (grammar) MATERIAL: Notebook. Make comparative sentences.
