VERDAD
El cacique marcó al indigena con un tizón encendido, se había
robado una mazorca. Los patrones no podían concebirlo, ¿por qué
los nativos perdían el tiempo teniendo hambre si nunca les habían
dado para comer? Todos los días el tizón repetía la pregunta, hasta
que los machetes contestaron.
El maíz siguió siendo maíz pero
misteriosamente el hambre desapareció.

MACHETES ALWAYS TELL THE TRUTH
The cacique marked the Indian with a firebrand, he had stolen a
corncob. Employers could not conceive why the natives would waste
their time feeling hungry if they had never been given to eat?
Everyday the lighted stick repeated the question, until the
machetes answered. Corn remained corn but mysteriously the
hunger disappeared.
