In accordance wi th Article 10 of the A{Jrce¡nent which was signed at Buenos Airea on the 17th
of May, 1946, be tween the Government o r the United
Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland and
the Government of the Ar13entinc Republic for air
servicea between their respective territories, arrd
amended by the Exchange of Notes signed at Buenos
Aires on the 22nd of January, 1953, I have the honour
to inform Your Excellency that Her Majesty's Govcrnment in the United Kingdom are prepared to extcnd
this .Agreement for a period ot: one year frem the 17th
of May, 1956.

If this proposal ia acceptable to the Pro-
visional Government of the Argentine Republic, I
h ave the honour to suggest that this Note and Yeur
Excellency's reply to that effect should be regordcd
as consti tuting an agreement between our two Governmenta Vlhich ahall come into force on the 17th of 11ay ,
1956.
I avail myself of this opportunity te renew
to Your Excellency the aasurance of my highest consideration.

Argentina sobre servicios aéreos entre sus respectivos
terri torios, emnendado por el Intercambio de Notar>
suscriptas en Buenos Aires el 22 de enero de 1953,
tengo el honor de informar a Vuestra Excelencia que
el Gobierno de Su Majestad en el Reino Unido está
dispuesto a prorrogar este Convenio por un período
de un año, a contor desde el 17 de mayo de 1956.

De ser aceptable esta propuesta al Gobierno
Provisional de la Repuolica Argentina, tengo el honor
de sugerir Que esta Nota y la contestación a ése efecto de Vuestra Excelencia sean consideradas como
constituyendo un convenio entre nuestros dos Gobiernos
que entrará en vigor el 17, de mayo de 1956.
Hago propicia esta espec1aJ. circunstancia para reiterar a Vuestra Excelencia las seguridades de
mi más alta consideración•
