Léa Pool
Nacida en Suiza, Léa Pool se mudó a Canadá
para estudiar cine y video. Ahí realizó su
proyecto final, Laurent Lamerre, portier, en
1978. Después de enseñar durante años en la
Universidad de Quebec, realizó el cortometraje
Strass Café. En 1984 debutó como directora
y guionista con La Femme de l’hôtel.
Born in Switzerland, Léa Pool moved to
Canada to study film and video, where she
made her final project, Laurent Lamerre,
portier in 1978. After teaching for several
years at the University of Quebec, she made
the short film Strass Café. In 1984 she made
her feature debut as a writer/director with La
Femme de l'hôtel.
