REACH
For assistance with 15-day, 48-hour or shut-off notices you will need:
1. Notice
The bill must be in your name. You will need your 15-day or 48-hour
notice. If your service has been shut off or if the due date on your notice
has expired, you will need an “Account Information Printout”
available only at the local PG&E office.
2. Verification of Income
You will need all income verification for everyone in the home. If you are
receiving TANF, get a current passport to services; SSI/SSA/Veteran, get
a printout or award letter for current year; all others require ALL check
stubs received in the previous month. Households with no income are
not eligible.
3. Rental Agreement/Mortgage Statement
You will need your rental/lease agreement or most recent mortgage
statement if you own your home. Households on Section 8 or in
Public Housing are NOT eligible. Your income must be greater than
your monthly rent/mortgage payment.
4. Co-Payment
You may be asked to make a co-payment if your Total Balance due is
more than $500. Applications will not be made until co-payment is made
(if applicable).
5. Picture identification
You will need a picture identification for the applicant, i.e. state issued
identification, consular identification, passport.
6. Verification of need
You will need to provide proof of the reason why you need assistance,
i.e. receipts.

Para asistencia con un aviso de 15 dias, 48 horas o desconeccion,
necesitara lo siguente:
1. Aviso
El bil debe estar a su nombre. Necesitara su aviso de 15 dias, o 48
horas. Si su servicio a sido desconectado o si la fecha en su aviso ya se
vencio, necesitara un “Account Information Printout” disponible
solamente en la oficina local de PG&E.
2. Verificacion de Ingresos
Usted necesitara verificacion de ingresos para todos en la casa. Si
usted recibe asistencia monetaria, obtenga un pasaporte a servicios;
SSI/SSA/Veteranos, obtenga un resumen o letra de otorgacion para el
año actual; todos los demas necesitaran todos los talones de cheques
recibidos en el mes anterior. Hogares sin ingresos no son elejibles.
3. Contrato de Renta/Resumen de Hipoteca
Usted necesitara su contrato de renta/alquilacion, o resumen de hipoteca
mas reciente si es dueño de casa. Hogares en Seccion 8 o Vivienda
Publica NO son elejibles. Sus ingresos beberan ser mayores que
su pago mensual de renta/hipoteca.
4. Co-Pago
Talvez se le pida que haga un co-pago si su Balance Total es mas de
$500. Aplicaciones no seran hechas hasta que se haiga hecho el copago (si aplica).
5. Identification con Foto
Necesitara una identificacion con foto para el aplicante, por ejemplo, una
identificacion del estado, matricula consular, pasaporte.
6. Verificacion de su necesidad
Necesitary proveer pruebas de la razon por la cual necesita asistencia,
por ejemplo recibos.
